Privacy Policy
Private beta draft. This describes how Care Candidate handles information today and will be expanded before public launch.
What we collect
We collect what the product needs to work: your name, email address, account type, and the information you choose to add to a job post, a Care Card, an application, or a feedback message. We also collect basic technical information needed to keep accounts secure.
Who can see what
Your account data is private to you. A family's private notes, ratings and favorites are never visible to caregivers. A caregiver's Care Card is shared with a family only through an application she chooses to submit.
The only publicly viewable content is a published job page, which anyone holding its Apply link can open.
How access is enforced
Access rules are enforced at the database level, not only in the interface. Every record is checked against the signed-in account before it is returned.
What we don't do
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share your data with advertisers.
Your choices
You can update the information in your account at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account and its data. Use the feedback page to reach us during the beta.
Changes
This policy is a working draft written for the beta period. A complete version will be published here before public launch.
